The Order Process

We have updated our system over the last few months to make the order process very simple, Below we have outlined in steps the entire process that takes place when your order your certificate with EBIZID.


Step 1
GENERATING THE CSR

On the order form you will need to provide us with your server generated CSR or "Certificate Signing Request" Click the following link to find out more on generating the CSR or you may need to have your hosting company do this for you. GENERATING THE CSR You should have your CSR ready to enter into the order form when you place your order so this is the first step you should complete prior to placing your order.

Step 2
Placing the order & Submitting your CSR

In order for us to generate and sign your SSL Certificate we must receive the CSR from you If you did not provide the CSR in the order form when you placed your order you  will need to login to the client administration system and submit a support request and create a new ticket.  Please follow the instruction in the support desk for submitting your CSR. During the order process it will ask you to paste your CSR in the CSR text area box, we also ask you for your server type and the dmain the certificate is for.

We need the fully qualified domain name so if your order is for a wild card certificate you would enter *.your domain .com if your order is for any of our other certificates you should enter the fully qualified domain name such as www.your domain.com or without the www. Remember you can order your certificate for anything.yourdomain.com so you will want to insure tht you are placing the order for the correct host name. some companies use secure.domainname.com or billing.domainname.com. 

Step 3
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

after you complete your order and before we issue any certificates EBIZID validates every single certificate order, therefore we need to collect a few documents from our customers before we will issue your certificate, Please see the following pages and documents for more instructions.

If you are a current customer and have already been validated you only need to complete the domain ownership portion of the form, all other customers will need to complete the entire form.

If you are renewing your certificate there is no paperwork or forms required and as long as you continue to place subsqunt renals you will never need to provide any forms for the same domain unless your information changes or there is a change of owners for the domain.

Step 3.
INSTALLING YOUR CERTIFICATE
Once we have completed the validation process, you will receive an email with
your certificate attached, you may also login to the client administration center and download your certificates. Once you have your certificates click on the link below to find detailed information on installing your EBIZID web server Certificate Installing your Certificate
