Once you receive the email with your certificate, follow the below
instructions to install your EBIZID SSL Certificate.
| There are TWO certificates that need to be installed during
this process. The first is the "Site" certificate, contained in the email
from EBIZID. The second is the "Bundled intermediate certificate" |
Open
the Certificate file
www_yourdomain_com.crt
Paste your EBIZID domain
certificate in the top box including the begin and end certificate
lines.
When you click outside the first certificate box your domain
name , IP, and user name should be
pulled from your server automatically ( this may not happen on
all servers)
Click the fetch Key file
button, If you key file does not appear in the box you may
need to paste the key file that was mailed to you and that
was attached to the email with your CSR from the server.
If the CA bundle file is
not pulled from the server you may need to install the bundle
files from the email and paste them into the bottom box.
| If you have a 3 year certificate you may need to use
the certificate from above if the one pulled from your
server does not work or let apache restart. |
Click the "Do it" button
to complete the installation at which time the server will
restart apache.
| If you get the message that the HTTP
has failed to start, you will need to remove the installed
certificate and start over or install the certificate through
a command line. |
| An alternative to the above installation procedure is to
install the certificates through a command line in apache. |
